Polycarboxylate acid is a new generation polymer polycarboxylate based(PC) water reducer. PC achieves its water reducing effect through the yield of electrostatic repulsion and steric hindrance when it is absorbed to the cement particles. Hence, PC is the most effective superplsticizer for cementitious materials.
