Xanthan gum is a premium quality biopolymer powder designed to provide maximum solids
suspension and hole cleaning in horizontal directional drilling application.
Specifications:

1) Appearance: cream colored and free flowing powder

2) Bulk density: approx. 550 - 700kg/m³

3) PH value (1% solution): 6.0 - 8.0

4) Solubility: easily soluble in fresh water or brine

5) Temperature stability: 120 - 150°C

6) Particle size: a) Through 28 mesh (micron): 100% b) Through 42 mesh (micron): 95% min.

7) Moisture: 13% max.

8) Ash: 13% max.

9) API standard: 3rpm: 15min and 6rpm: 16min
